Warning: If you search "Claude Desktop" on Google, the 2nd ad result is a scam. How is this allowed to stay up? I even reported this yesterday and Gemini is able to identify it as a scam. Why is Google allowing scam ads for one of the most popular searches? The 2nd ad appears to be malicious and a scam to install hidden spyware on your computer which then steals all your passwords via Terminal. Here's the website it links to: https://chat.chatbotapp.ai/claude?utm_source=GoogleAds&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=%7Bcampaign%7D&utm_id=23518808628&utm_term=190406837217&utm_content=795570932766&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23518808628&gbraid=0AAAAA9X0Rz2qcMkbnYW5mgRBZdmdvS1Fg&gclid=CjwKCAjwnZfPBhAGEiwAzg-VzCTvmz1qjXNuSEUPWB-T3w3RIwXZ3At2wGhy2ANMWizJnkifmlHlcxoCVdUQAvD_BwE
Can someone at Google do something about this? Sorry if this seems blunt, but in what planet have you've been living in that you're still not aware that google, meta, bing and pretty much all ad companies have been serving huge amounts of scams and malware since the dawn of time (in internet years) and have always done very little or nothing about it? most google sponsored results for MacOS lead to a dodgy curl that they want you to blindly paste. Google needs to get its act together, or lose all trust. It has lost all trust from me by now. A google search for ABC will return all of ABC's competitors, sometimes ABC itself, and sometimes malware.
