Knime will undergo enshittification in 2026

Command-line automation feature will be disabled from KNIME 5.6 on. This is a move to force people to use their proprietary Business Hub. Very disappointing news for people who loved KNIME's open-source nature, and a very dangerous move for the company in the age in which people can easily create new application using AI. This is not the way. Users should take note and speak up.
