Isn't it harder to make good decisions while in panic mode, thereby floating you further away from the goal of making money?
Sure, except the value of panic mode is it lights a fire under you to get out of panic mode. Whereas this feels like a long-term strategy for continuous lack of ambition, in the sense that the writer doesn't demonstrate any desire to actually earn money.
