Firefox appears to be bulk removing extensions with no explanation

- In the blog post the author finds many extensions plausibly pushing malware or other harm, with Mozilla ostensibly asleep at the wheel. Many plugs the author is working with then disappear, indicating the Moz may be conducting a purge of extensions.
