Ask HN: Which LLM model and agentic CLI are you using for local development?
I’ve been testing a handful of models the past few weeks, but I still haven’t settled on one yet…
I’m curious to see what models, their sizes, on what hardware, and which agentic tool people are using Macbook air M5 32gb ram here. using oMLX as the runtime/server and right now the perceived best model is Devstral-Small-2-24B-Instruct-2512-4bit for me, within opencode.
