I built a free 30-day habit tracker in Google Sheets
days, then stop. Like over and over again. Not because the goals were bad or too ambitious or anything. But because I had nothing keeping me sane and on task once the initial motivation faded.
I wanted something simple, not those dumb tracking apps from ads on IG, not a Notion template with 20 linked databases. Just a spreadsheet I could open every morning, check some boxes, and see how I was doing.
So I built the thing I wanted. A Google sheets tracker that stays open in my browser tabs, doesn’t send me useless notifications or try to get me to sign up to a monthly plan. The spreadsheet has got a habit tracker, dashboard, daily journal, weekly metrics and a goals sheet.
