ReactOS Now Works with ~90% of GPU Drivers for Windows XP/2k3 Intel, AMD, Nvidia
twitter.comReactOS has made significant progress in supporting proprietary graphics drivers, now achieving roughly 90% compatibility with Windows XP and Server 2003 drivers thanks to KMDF and WDDM implementation. In the latest 0.4.16 nightly builds, Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD drivers run reliably, fixing previous launch failures and instability. The system has been successfully tested on real hardware, with working 2D/3D acceleration, audio, and network support across a wide range of GPUs. Memory management improvements further increased stability, reducing crashes during graphics adapter initialization.
