Tell HN: YouTube Subscription page is being deprecated
My YouTube Subscriptions page on desktop now has a "Most Relevant" section. On large screens, this takes up half of the page. On smaller screens, this takes up more than half the page. You should expect this "Most Relevant" section to replace the direct content listing in future.
When this happens, you should expect to lose direct access to your subscription listing by upload date. They will probably add a button for direct listings, at least for a while, but you will not be able to link a direct listing.
Later on that button will be removed, and the option will be hidden in settings somewhere. >You should expect this "Most Relevant" section to replace the direct content listing in future. I agree that we should expect youtube to always get worse, however do we have any specific proof of this, or is this just a realistic expectation? YouTube: If you remove direct link access to by subscriptions by upload date, I will drop my premium subscription and watch time drastically. In uBlock Origin, this user filter will get rid of the "Most Relevant" section, for now.
