Tell HN: Cursor has an agent CLI, and it's better than Claude Code
Stumbled on this today. Cursor ships a CLI agent (not just the IDE) and after a day of use I'm making it my default.
What's actually better:
- Model flexibility: you're not locked to one provider - Performance: noticeably faster and snappier - No scrolling bug: Claude Code has this behavior where, while you're reading the plan mid-session, it redirects you back several chunks. I had normalized it. Cursor's CLI just doesn't do it.
Sharing in case others are in the same position I was — using Claude Code without knowing this existed. Ops, forgot to share the link: https://cursor.com/blog/cli
