I think AI use is reflected in GitHub stats at least a bit
vester.siI saw twice recently that if everyone is so productive, where are all the new Github repos, but never bothered to check the data. Seems like the uptick is plausibly visible from Github's own data?
I regularly search for new repos in my field and about half the results these days are half-baked, botched or basic stuff driven by AI.
I would imagine it is, yes. That's even true of my own repos.
