I think Epstein's primary role was as a money launderer for Wall Street and the US political/mandarin class. The sex stuff may have been secondary and as blackmail collateral. Powerful people need to hide their money. No customs checks between Continental US and US Virgin Islands, and a short trip on a yacht from the US Virgin Islands to the British Virgin Islands where they ask no questions about bags of dollars being brought in.
As for the US, there are many people out there who want to see it brought down so some kind of new world power can move in instead.

Don't know what that's supposed to mean. It's pretty well established that Epstein had some kind of financial role although this has been underplayed throughout the reporting of all this. It has not been made clear where he made all his money.
Also curious underreporting of the mysterious death of Ghislaine Maxwell's father's death and how that may relate to all this.
