Ask HN: Unflag a Post Gone
My account used to have the ability to unflag posts up until recently. When reading an individual's comment that was flagged, I looked for the unflag button and it wasn't there.
My account is a few years old and I believe has sufficient points.
Another post from someone with the same issue that was found in the search:
https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=31395997
I've tried doing a web search and there wasn't much on this issue. Hope someone else can give a clear answer as I think it would be helpful for others as well.
Mentioning the admin dang by keyword might help? Thanks if you see this. The "vouch" button only appears in "[dead]" comments. Take a look at the unoficial FAQ by minimaxir https://github.com/minimaxir/hacker-news-undocumented?tab=re... @dang does nothing, but you can write to hn@ycombinator.com Thanks for linking I did read that but my thought was I had the option to specifically unflag a post that was flagged by a different user. Maybe it was only the way you were describing but from the link I had provided it seems the other user thought the same way as I did initially. because someone else flagged it, not (just) you Maybe I am not understanding your comment but I did not flag anything. When someone flagged a comment I used to have the option to unflag. The same that is described in the link in the topic post.
