Who is the CS degree for going forward? Who should safely stay away from it? A CS degree still makes sense for people who enjoy fundamentals and problem-solving, not just shipping features. If someone is motivated mainly by titles or trends, they’ll likely struggle as the field keeps changing. Curiosity and long-term learning matter more now than credentials. For people who can prepare themselves for business in other ways and won't get as much value out of business school
