PoopyFeed is an open source baby care tracking app I built with Django. It tracks feedings (bottle/breast), diaper changes, and naps.

The main reason I built this: commercial baby tracking apps either have subscriptions, require accounts with their servers, or don't let multiple caregivers collaborate well. I wanted something self-hostable where my family's data stays under our control.

  - Track feedings (bottle amount in oz, or breast with duration/side), diapers (wet/dirty/both), and naps

  - Role-based access: co-parents get full edit access, caregivers can only view and add entries

  Tech stack: Django 6.0, PostgreSQL, Bootstrap 5.
