More than half of the U.S. braces for hazardous ice, heavy snow and brutal cold

The panic is hitting the Mid-Atlantic hard. People who were around for the major snowstorms 10 and 16 years ago (when some people were snowed in for days) are rushing to stock up. Store shelves are looking more like March 2020 COVID days.
