Hallucinations in LLMs: What are they and what causes them

two simple questions.

What are they? they are a total fantasy created by boosters, salesmen and sycophants.

What causes them? Boosters, salesmen and sycophants.

LLM's do not and cannot hallucinate. they are not human.

LLM's do not partake in the ritual consumption of psilocybin (magic mushrooms) or LSD, nor are they prone to spending time in mental health facilities suffering from psychotic episodes.
