Ask HN: Does Product Hunt Helpful?
I've had a question for days: is Product Hunt really useful for promoting your product and finding your target audience?
Serval days ago, before the new year, I launched my SaaS on Product Hunt. I initially thought this was a great opportunity to find my target users, but unfortunately, despite a few clicks, I didn't get any new users from there, except for some emails recommending their services. Product Hunt can be helpful for visibility and some early feedback, but it usually doesn’t turn into real users unless the people there already feel that problem. I’ve found it works better as a learning signal than a growth channel. Curious what others here have experienced. Didn’t do me any good. All the winners pay to win.
