Tell HN: EU soliciting feedback on law that could affect Open Access

The EU Commission currently has an open consultation on the European Research Area Act until 23 January, which might could strengthen rights to open access and secondary publication [1]. I know many of you care about open knowledge, so this could be a good way to share those thoughts and counter the voices of the many publishers responding.

You can fill out the questionnaire here: https://ec.europa.eu/info/law/better-regulation/have-your-say/initiatives/14608-European-Research-Area-Act/public-consultation_en

Academic institutions, NGOs, EU- and non-EU citizens, and businesses can all respond.

You can look at the submissions to get an idea of the concerns raised [2]
