You can't learn to carry a title from books or AI
No matter how exceptional you are at your job, when it comes to earning a title, you need to have worked closely—for a significant time—with at least 5 people who already hold that title. You've shared meals with them, drunk coffee together, and had countless deep conversations.
Don't become a CEO without having built real relationships with 5 CEOs.
Don't become a CTO without the same with 5 CTOs.
Don't become a Senior without it from 5 Seniors...
You can learn everything technical from professors, books, mentors, and even AI.
But no one can teach you how to carry a title! I am getting really sick of wading through the 90% sh*t (e.g., this) to get to the 10% gold on this website, especially since I have not profited one bit from coming here lol
