What Happened to WebAssembly

I've been thinking about this a lot and this article finally made it click for me. Having worked primarily on bespoke ERPs, there's not much of a need for me to directly utilize WA in my applications. That said, I'd love to work on a POC that takes advantage of some of the portability features mentioned in the article.
