Ask HN: How do you market a small project?
I have a small project that is very niche and would like to reach people who would be into it. Do traditional google ads work? I would be happy with just a few hundred users, how do you do cost / benefit? You bring up your product in the place your users are. Might be reddit, might be LinkedIn, might be Google Search results, it all depends on who your customer is and what their habits are. Probably reddit I was going to try that but you need karma to post and that kind of turned me off of it
