Google, stop uploading my photos and saying that storage is full
I never asked Google to backup my photos. It is clearly set to "No backup". It still uploads all my photos from my phone and warns me that storage is full and can't receive emails. What a crappy sales trick. I assume this is about the Android gallery app? You may want to try an alternative, like Fossify Gallery. I switched for the exact reasons you say and the paid/locked filters that I don't use anyway.
