New graphene breakthrough supercharges energy storage

It would be good to use in combination with the main battery of an EV. The supercapacitor can be used as a buffer to efficiently capture the regenerative braking energy of the car and then either reuse it immediately to accelerate or slowly charge the main battery.

The more the main battery can be protected the better for its longevity.
