Hello I want to research Digg and see whats all about, please help me out lol, i run some big subs on Reddit and I am hoping hopefully all the right things about reddit (the hobby subs, the tech subs the meme subs, and all the good things from there migrates over) can I get a usercode please to join, let me know if this is the right place to ask haha. Digg was like a combination of Reddit and HN basically. The content tended toward the technical side of things. Look into Slashdot as well. Not much traffic there. Mostly complaining about Trump, complaining about Google, complaining about Digg itself, then chatting about TV shows and movies, pictures of pets, pictures of food. shit is there no social media that isnt like political? easiest win of the century right there, I thought about for example what if someone created a new livestreaming site and banning all existing Twitch/Youtube/Kick users as a lot of them have drama and what a lot of people would consider toxic. A new livestreaming site such as this would immidiately be looked at positively. It's divided into "communities" kinda like subreddits. There are more and less political ones. They haven't even launched the feature that will let new moderators make their own communities yet. Early days.
