ever.chatI built Ever.chat because I miss the early internet, when you could jump into a random chatroom and instantly meet people who shared your interests.
Ever.chat brings that back, reimagined for today. No accounts, no invites, no servers, just type a hashtag and you’re in. Examples: #startups, #ai, #general.
Why: Discord and Slack made chat too closed. IRC was too technical. I wanted the simplicity of “/join #something” — but in one click.
Would love your thoughts, especially from folks who remember IRC, or have ideas on moderation + scaling open chatrooms.
