Ask HN: Scientists and Engineers, what software would you like to see made?
Could be totally new, or an alternative to existing software. A well-done, robust, complete OpenGL API that would sit atop the native graphics environments of Window, Linux and Mac. This would do wonders letting people with 3D graphics software to concentrate on the logic rather than making the 3D work with each OS change.
