Tell HN: VSCode Copilot completions have been turned on without notice
I just started getting MS Copilot completions in VS Code without notice. I never supplied a GitHub account to the Copilot extension (installed by default). This wasn't at app startup, it was 90 minutes into a coding session (proprietary code). First, I got some popup about 'GitHub Copilot app modernization' extension asking for my GitHub account, which I ignored.
