OpenAI eng: I have a goal of not typing a single line of code by hand next year

I don't doubt most code will be created by AI, but that actually doesn't translate to a huge boost in the daily life of an engineer. Also, codex and claude code aren't that complex of software products.

Reminds me of Apple's "What is a computer?" ad

We now still need to kind of babysit the Claude Code and Codex. I believe it will be improved next year.
