Ask HN: How can I map my windows keyboard to Mac?
I recently got a mac and was wondering if there was a simple solution to mapping my keyboard directly to mac. I really dislike the mac keyboard and ideally want to map the keyboard identically to the windows one. Is that possible? For more advanced mapping (should you need it — see al_borland's comment) check out Karabiner Elements. It's been rock solid for me. Keyboard Maestro will also do the trick, but Karabiner Elements might be lower-level and less fuss once you get it set up. Still, Keyboard Maestro is de rigueur on macOS, and worth every penny.
