Seems like comparing late and early TRE would be good. I.e. compare 12:00-20:00 eating with 8:00-16:00. Heavy or high-fat meals can take 12 hours to digest; eating early allows your heart rate to go lower overnight and otherwise allows better sleep. I guess the early TRE would give better results.
