Show HN: "All Bitcoin transactions are JPEGs"
twitter.comI wanted to explore the idea described in the tweet by Paul Sztorc that Bitcoin transactions can be art, so I created https://transactionbitmap.com which operates on the principle that art can be found in unexpected places, including the mathematical patterns and data inherent in blockchain transactions.
Art is subjective, just like value is. Fun! How is it that such a long hash can be shown in a 5x6 grid with some 256^3 options per slot? I get 503,316,480 possibilities. But aren't those hashes supposed to be so numerous that there's basically no chance of collisions?
