Show HN: StreamBuddy – Natural lang movie search (with platform availability)

2 points by peaknk a year ago · 0 comments · 1 min read

StreamBuddy lets you type plain English queries like: •“Comedy movies after 2010, RT >70, under 90 minutes, on Netflix US”

•“Heist movies available on Netflix or Hulu”

•“Romantic comedies from the 90s on HBO Max”

It parses the query into filters (genre, year, ratings, platform, etc.) and returns results. On top of that, you can apply dynamic filters — platform availability, Rotten Tomatoes, IMDb, runtime — without retyping the query.
