Uber Allowing Drivers Stall for Better Fares, Passengers Stranded
You book a ride, a driver accepts, but they either don’t move or head in the wrong direction. They’ve picked up a better fare through another app and are hoping you’ll cancel on your own.

In Belgium it happens too much. Time lost waiting due to unresponsive driver: 35 minutes

Resolution method: Harassing Bolt AI support Does Belgium have Lyft or Bolt? Also, after enough time you can cancel the ride when the driver does that, there’s an option somewhere. This is common in Prague when I visit, now I use Bolt.
