Samsung smart TV outage prevents access to third party apps

As far as I can tell, from using the internal browser on one of my TVs, there is a certificate store issue. Either they nuked local CAs accidentally or they've always been doing some MITM shenanigans and had an expired certificate in the chain or some downtime somewhere in the stack.

My money's a lot more on the former and I will be interested to see how they get themselves out of this conundrum.
