Ask HN: What are the pros/cons of a startup listing on Cloud Marketplace?
We are a small startup having a very fancy cloud-based solution. We are engaging directly with key customers but also looking into Google Cloud Marketplace and AWS Marketplace.
What are the pros/cons of listing on the Marketplace vs a direct sales motion?
(I think I have a good understanding of the general principles and I am more interested in war or success stories.)
