Ask HN: How do you use Amazon shipping notifications, if at all?
Amazon can send a lot of notifications for orders: order placement, shipment, delivery, delays, returns etc. I personally enable the email notifications for order placement and delivery, I receive then via email, and when I receive one of those emails I see the notification on my phone and almost always delete the email immediately, knowing that there's a package outside or something happened with my order.
If I'm not at home when I get a package delivery notification, then maybe I'll snooze the notification until I get home so I don't forget to go get my package from the front door.
What Amazon notifications do you get, and what do you do with them/how do you handle them?
