Stoic Indifferents vs. Embodied AI

Stoics concept of Indifferents sees externals as neither good nor bad. The example of a knife, used for meat or murder, has no intrinsic good or bad.

However, the Stoics view might change if embodied AI exists, e.g. in a robot. Now externals have "agency" and possibly have an intrinsic good or bad.

Robots with agency is going to have an interesting impact on philosophy.
