I wanted a Hacker News mobile app that could quickly give me AI summaries of the articles, but I couldn’t find one that did it well, so I built one.
It's available on both Android and iOS and includes all the features you would expect, such as dark and light mode, keeping read history, bookmarking posts and comments, and searching posts with date filters etc.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and how I can improve it! Trying the iOS version and it looks pretty good so far. Good job! Maybe add an option to export the bookmarked posts? Glad that you are liking the app! Import/Export feature for bookmarks is on my roadmap. What are the in app purchases? Its for purchasing AI summaries. By default each user gets 1000 article summaries to begin with, which should suffice for several months for most users. Initially I didn't want to put any in-app purchases but decided to add it to prevent abuse.
