RocketSDR – Are they faking being backed with YC?
I got a cold email from them, decided to check out their website - they are short on information and you have to set up a call with them before you can use their product.
I decided to dig a bit deeper - they don't have a LinkedIn presence, and searching for the name of the email sender "Ayush Pateria" who is the co-founder of Snazzy (YC W21). But there's no mention of RocketSDR on their page.
I also can't find RocketSDR on YC's website. Hey, Ayush here! We've recently launched RocketSDR under Snazzy which is YC backed, it's super early for us, will be formally launching soon. Checking LinkedIn, he is the founder of Snazzy YC W21. I guess you are checking something else well, backed by YC could mean backed by Yellow Community. Does ycombinator own YC?
