Drupal CMS desktop application

I’ve been out of the loop on Drupal since versions 5/6/7, so seeing “Drupal CMS 1.0” was a little confusing. This blog post helped explain it [1]

Drupal CMS is essentially their Drupal 11 software bundled with modules and workflows all ready for use by non-technical folks.

So this app looks to be a way to make it even easier for someone just wanting to it for blogging to launch a test instance without needing to setup docker, deploy containers, etc.

In my opinion they’ll need to add the ability to publish/deploy to a hosting provider to make this reasonable to use. Nobody wants to put a ton of effort into a local blog just for it to sit on their hard drive. It looks like they’re working on this feature according to their GitHub.
