Ask HN: Is there an intuition for Minesweeper parameters?
Playing Minesweeper, 9x9 with 10 mines is usually solvable without taking risks, but 9x9 with 18 is not. Is there an intuitive explanation for what makes Minesweeper games solvable? With 9 there are smaller clusters, if there are even some, but for 18 you get clusters that are hard to solve
