nitpick: /net is not a file server but a mount point for network file servers such as ether(3), ip(3), and tls(3).

The ftp site does work but tailscaled is compiled for 386 and I dont have a 386 kernel running atm. Building from source source is the better way to go on 9.

Good to know. It's nice that I can use this on my Surface and 9 Thinkpad so my machines can talk to each other when using public Wi-Fi when on the go.
