No OpenAI, I Won't Pay $10k/Month for Your AI Agent
thetrendysoftwareideas.substack.comwhy not, human agents cost much more than that, considering the ai agent works 24/7, if you wanted a human to get paid 10k and work 24/365, good luck. Humans also waste a massive amount of time. I mean the theory is they work very hard, but even 10x devs I know work extremely hard for only 30% of the year. After that they spend all their time training others on the code that made/changed. They also become excessively egotistical and fight anyone trying to change/replace their code.
Are you suggesting these AI agents can write code 24/7 without a single error or getting stuck? In my experience (and I think plenty of others would confirm this), you're lucky if they can run smoothly for even 5 minutes without hitting some kind of problem that needs human intervention.
Do they work? It’s an interesting pricing strategy because it begs your defense of them. If they work, then $10,000 / month is cheap!
