GitHub Copilot refuses to autocomplete 'Palestine' in a list of countries
twitter.comWill it do Bouvet Island? That's usually my test on how mindless a system is since there's so few possibilities where it is a desired choice but often shows up anyway because of GIGO. If Bouvet Island shows up but Palestine doesn't, that smells of manual intervention.
Yes, it does. I used the ISO-3166-1 code list (source: https://github.com/wooorm/iso-3166/blob/main/1.js) as a reference, and Copilot auto-completed every other country.
I asked Copilot to list countries beginning with "pal" with their ISO shortcut and Palestine was on the list
It does autocomplete it at the end of the video. /scratching_head
I think that's because I manually provided the Country key and it eventually complied
