America, the leviathan (in the Hobbesian sense), is crippling itself, blinding itself, cutting itself off from allies. What's will be left in 4 years? Not the same country.
It’s also hard to imagine something which provides a better value than accessible weather data. Farming, construction, shipping, flights, etc.
Then again, good weather data might support climate change arguments, so it has to go.
