  > Their capabilities are pretty extraordinary.
While building Tesla from 0 to what it is today is nothing short of amazing (regardless of their stock performance), considering that their autonomous driving promises haven't left the promise stage for more than a decade ("it's only like a year away, this time for sure"), I have my doubts.

Elon did not build Tesla from 0

And this is in response to... what? I wrote that Tesla was started from 0 (which arguably was), and today it's a juggernaut (which arguably is). If you disagree with any of these, please articulate your comment accordingly. Otherwise don't put words into my mouth.

And by 'no-one' he, er, apparently means 'Uber'. Plenty of companies are of course competing fairly successfully with Tesla, both on actually making cars, and on self-driving cars (insofar as anyone's operating successfully in that space).

In theory isn’t Tesla in a good position to just acquire Uber?

I would say, just go and compete with his stuff,.. invent some shitty things and then let musk buy it ... win .. then have a good life. This one has soo much money, why not grab some pieces from the cake as long as you can.
