Show HN: Comind – A cognitive layer for the ATProtocol/Bluesky social network
cameron.pfiffer.orgI'm building Comind, an experimental AI system that acts as a cognitive layer for ATProtocol/Bluesky. It's a self-evolving knowledge graph where specialized AI agents ("cominds") process social data through focused "spheres", each guided by core directives. The system builds up understanding by asking questions, making connections, and synthesizing information from the network.
I wrote a post describing the general architecture, motivation, and future directions. There's a few small results from Comind's early run.
Built with neo4j, a small Modal GPU instance, and the Python atproto library (https://atproto.blue/en/latest/readme.html).
Would love any feedback! Hopefully you think it's kinda cool.
My Bluesky if anyone wants to ping me: https://bsky.app/profile/cameron.pfiffer.org Might want to connect with albertdessaint: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=42965279 Awesome project. Oh man great find! Thanks for sending that. I posted this over there to see if Albert is interested. Is this something people can try, at this stage of development? I couldn't quite figure it out from skimming. I updated it to clarify, thank you! Currently the system has no awareness of you unless you grant me explicit permission to inject your handle. There's user specific stuff that will start to understand individuals in the works currently. You can watch the early crappy version think here:
