Why the AI world is suddenly obsessed with a 160-year-old economics paradox

I appreciate that the author is being skeptical of corporate press-releases and CEO social media here, and pointing out the existence of other motives. In general it doesn't happen enough, and it's especially important if you believe (like I do) that there's something bubbly and overhyped going on.
