Show HN: Learning Tauri by building modern desktop RSS reader
github.comHello people of the internet! Just wanted to share my project here that I've been building for the last couple of weeks. This is a RSS feed aggregator and reader project that is built using Tauri (I know Rust now!), SvelteKit and TailwindCSS. I wanted to get back into desktop app building and Tauri seemed really interesting (espcially when it is written in Rust). While building this app, I had almost 1% interaction with Rust and most of the heavy lifting was done at the frontend with using Tauri plugins (that is Rust in the backend).
Anyway want to share here to capture more feedbacks. Do you guys still use RSS? What apps do you refer to on daily basis? Let me know!!
Note: The project is far from complete and still has bugs, UX improvements and features to be added.
