I Use Free AI Tools to Close More Sales Deals (No Paid Tools Needed)

I'm a founder and SEO consultant, and like many of you, I spend a lot of time on sales calls. I used to struggle with remembering details, crafting follow-ups, and analyzing my performance. To solve this, I built an AI-powered workflow using only free tools that helps me:

- Never forget crucial details: Perfect if you have ADHD or a busy schedule.

- Review past calls easily: No more mixing up clients or forgetting key points.

- Continuously improve: Get AI feedback on my sales approach.

- Generate personalized offers: Quickly create targeted proposals based on call transcripts.

- Share insights with team members: Enables better collaboration (if you have a team, I mostly work solo).

My (mostly) free stack:

- Google Meet: For video calls, recording, and basic transcription.

- Cal.com (Open Source): Automated scheduling that integrates with Google Meet.

- Google AI Studio (Gemini): For generating summaries, writing proposals and emails, and self-analysis.

- Descript (Free Tier): For higher accuracy transcription and audio/video editing (they do have a paid tier with more features but the free tier is enough for transcription).

How it works:

1. Record calls in Google Meet or Cal.com.

2. Transcribe with Google Meet/Cal.com, or use Descript for better accuracy.

3. Feed the transcript to Google AI Studio to generate a summary and identify key points.

4. Use the summary + Google AI Studio to draft proposals and follow-up emails.

5. Ask Google AI Studio to analyze my performance and suggest improvements.

99% of people will try to sell you expensive sales tools, but this simple free stack is all you need if you're running solo. No need to overcomplicate things, in my opinion.
